She has her mom's brown eyes, and her mum's soft skin. She has an expressive face. Her mother says she has a glass face, that her emotions are always running their course across her face, while her Father has tried to teach her to hide more of it. She can be very nice and loving but her first impression is often the exact opposite. She does not allow otherwise. Druella is a true mix of her daughters. She is cold and severe as Bellatrix but a true society snob as she has raised Narcissa to be. Druella does not believe in second chances with anyone outside of her family. If they screw up, she is done with them and sees no point in them sticking around. She was raised to know her status and to remember that she is the commanding force, not the working force. Her parents instilled in her the fact that her job is to marry well, have children and raise them to follow in her footsteps while making the family proud. She expects her daughters to act accordingly, even at such a young age. Druella likes only the best. Her girls have the best baby clothes, the best cradles, beds and the best tutors. She has already lined up the tutors the girls will have before they get their Hogwarts Letters. She knows they will get their letters and knows that the girls will of course be in Sytherin. Druella runs her household sternly, she expects her daughters to be on their best behavior and to always be dressed implicitly. She does not allow her kids to ever look like common riffraff. Druella is fiercely loyal to her family. She would protect her daughters with her life if it came to it. They are her world as is her husband. She might expect high standards, but she holds herself to just as high a standard and will not allow less of herself either. She was raised for the first six years of her life in Paris with her Father’s family, but moved back to England when her father got a job with the Minsitry in London. As she grew in age, she received two letters from two different schools of Magic. Beauxbatons and Hogwarts. Her mother wished her to go to Hogwarts, where she had gone, while her father wanted her to go to Beauxbatons where he had gone. After long talks and debates, finally the parents asked Druella what she wanted and she said “Hogwarts!” enthusiasticly, she had friends who had received their letters and they wanted her to go as well. Druella wanted to be with her friends. Druella was sorted into Slytherin, where her own mother had been. She parents were very happy about her sorting and sent her sweets to celebrate. During the first few years at Hogwarts, Druella excelled in her schooling. She was excited to be named a prefect in her fifth year and continued with her studies. She had made friends in her house, in addition to the friends she took to school with her. A few who she kept up with even after they graduated and she hadn’t were the Blacks. Orion and she had become close during their time in school together. He had hopes to help her marry into a good family. He knew he was going to marry Walburga, and as such worked to get her married to his soon to be brother-in-law, Cygnus. Druella knew Cygnus from school, they had been friendly and she had always found him good looking. She has no real plans to marry, she knew her mother wanted her to marry well and enjoyed the idea of her marrying into the Black family. Her parents spoke with Pollux and Irma Black, and the four arranged for the marriage of their daughter to the son of Pollux and Irma. Within a very short time of their marriage, Cyngus and Druella welcomed their first child into the family. A little girl they named Bellatrix, after a star in the Orion constellation. Druella was happy to have a little girl but soon was annoyed by who much the little girl stuck with her husband. Within the next year Druella was with child again and when they welcomed their second child, again they chose to name her after the stars, Andromeda. Druella was fond of this child, as she seemed to enjoy her mother’s company. Two years later she had yet another daughter. This time, breaking from the Black family tradition of star names, she named her daughter after the flower she resembled, Narcissa. The blond haired, blue eyed girl was Druella’s favorite. This girl, she knew would be the Princes of the family.
